Auto-Accept DCC Transfers was now added to the preferences. This means that if you are on IRC and a bot is sending you a torrent, you don't have to do anything. Just sit back and relax as ZipTorrent downloads the file for you.
Auto-Download of Torrent links. Same as with DCC, except you don't even need to transfer a file. ZipTorrent will automatically download torrent files and start downloading the content. This is a great feature for remotely activating downloads at home. Just make a private channel with a key only you know, then just dump links to torrents into that channel, and your ZipTorrent at home will download those torrents automatically.
Many fixes and updates to the BitTorrent handling, and specifically we have fixed a crash, and also a situation where torrents would pause suddenly, without notice. We have also added "Scrape" functionality, so you can see total seeds and leechs as reported by the tracker (Note: many trackers report wrong numbers, or accumulated numbers, or no numbers at all).
Fixed a bug with IRC where some servers would drop the connection and ZipTorrent did not detect the disconnection.
Added a button with your Nickname, next to the chat line. By clicking this button you can easily change your nick.
Fixed a bug with IRC where it would sometimes complain the nickname is invalid, even though a proper nickname is specified in ZipTorrent.

The most exciting feature in this private release is the IRC support, because it allows people to either DCC torrents to each other, or simply catch torrent links published in IRC. Some channels on some networks do just that with the help of bots that get their links either from RSS or from some other database.
